Brief Description: Fuselage preparation for painting
In the morning my brother Bernie and I continued masking the fuselage in preparation for painting. We also completed the paint fixture support brackets on the firewall and tail. I also sanded the micro I had applied yesterday. In the afternoon once everything was ready we transferred the fuselage to the paint fixture and rolled the aircraft into the paint booth where we cleaned, abraded and etched the skin. Next we rolled the aircraft into the driveway and rinsed it to make sure all the etch was removed. Finally we rolled the aircraft back into the paint booth to let everything dry overnight.
